HERE'S WHAT SOME OF OUR GUESTS THOUGHT:
  • Anastasia l @careaapp
My number one takeaway from the event is: “I think my number one takeaway was to be unapologetically myself - it is so easy to compare yourself to others as a business owner but especially also as a mother but being surrounded by so many incredible women doing their own thing was just so energizing!! Absolutely loved your event - thank you for having me!!"
  • Carly & Nicole l @manava_world
My number one takeaway from the event is: “Mothers Meetings reinforced that honest conversations about challenges, start ups, career paths and work life balance help normalise experiences and unlock solutions. Being in a room with such strong women created confidence, opportunity and a collective impact across industries. Thank you for a brilliant event, we really enjoyed it! See you at the next one!"
  • Elizabeth l @bondedlashes_official
My number one takeaway from the event is: “If you're ever in a rut feeling lonely or needing some inspiration. As a female founder then just go along to a mothers meeting. This years Christmas event left me feeling excited supported and ready for the new year. We're all better when we're connected."

WTF IS AN INFLUENCER AND HOW TO SECRETLY BECOME ONE / 4th November at 11AM / Mothers Meetings presents the Power of Influencing!

🗓 Tuesday 4th November 2025
🕚 11am
📍 Shoreditch House, LONDON

Have you ever looked at someone’s Instagram and thought…

“How is she getting all that free stuff?!”

The coffee invites, the press dinners, the PR packages arriving like clockwork — all while she’s juggling life, kids, and a great outfit? Well, here’s the secret: it’s not just luck — it’s influence.

We’re hosting this event to pull back the curtain and show you how it’s really done — from growing your platform and building a brand that brands actually want to work with, to turning your personality into your superpower. If you’ve ever fancied learning how to become an influencer, blogger or brand magnet (and get the perks that come with it), this one’s for you.

Let’s get one thing straight — being an influencer isn’t just about freebies and filters. It’s about impact. It’s about sharing what you love, owning your voice, and inspiring others to do the same.

Whether you’re running a biz, building your brand, or just figuring out your next chapter — you already influence the people around you more than you think. This event is your permission slip to own it — your story, your platform, your power.

You’ll learn:
  •  What “influence” really means now
  •  How to build trust, not just followers
  •  Turning your personality into a platform
  •  Working with brands that fit you
  •  Using your voice for real impact

Meet the Speakers:
Victoria Louise Davies (@vdhsleep) -- Founder of VDH Sleep, helping families find rest and rhythm with honesty and heart.

Esther Marshall  (@sophiesaysofficial) — Founder of The Sophie Says Foundation, inspiring resilience and conversation around grief and growth.

Sam Smith (@hellotimeplanner) -- Award-winning founder of Hello Time Planner, making productivity feel calm, creative and human.

Vicky Smith (@vicky_flicemail) — Email strategist and storytelling pro, teaching women how to connect (and convert) with heart.

Hosted by Jenny Scott (@mothersmeetings) - Founder of Mothers Meetings: connecting women, building confidence, and creating spaces where we actually get seen and heard.

HERE'S WHAT SOME OF OUR GUESTS THOUGHT:
  • Gemma Francis l | @planiit.io
My number one takeaway from the event is: “It was such a wonderful morning filled with lots of incredible working Mums - my biggest takeaway was how energised I felt after. Speaking and listening to so many interesting women, connecting over our shared loved for our work and our babies - so looking forward to the next one xx"

  • Georgina Waterhouse  | @themanifestostudio
My number one takeaway from the event is: “I took away the following points from your fab event: grow your email list & when you don’t feel like it, especially when you don’t feel like it - get out of your house and out of your way and connect and speak to people! So many of us yesterday were on the verge of not going for many different reasons - but we were all so happy we did! Xx"

  • Alex Dauley | @alexandriadauley
My number one takeaway from the event is: “Hun, I loved it, it was fab, can't wait for the next one. My number 1 takeaway was what you said "celebrate yourself with confidence and kindness, whilst owning your brand authentically and unashamedly."

  • Beth O'neill l | @bethoneill
My number one takeaway from the event is:
 •  building your brand shop window for your personal brand as well as your actual brand
 •  challenging do I need 2 accounts? If so what makes each 1 different?
 •  thinking about different ways to share your story/brand without being the face of it
More than that it’s always so amazing to reconnect and connect with mamas!"

  • Esther Marshall  | @sophiesaysofficial
My number one takeaway from the event is: “The top tip would be to stick to your brand and be authentic with it, that came up time and time again and really stuck with me. X"

  • Vicky Smith l | @vicky_flicemail
My number one takeaway from the event is: “My number one tip would be: You don't learn by waiting, you learn by doing! You don’t need a massive list or a huge following to have influence — you need the courage to start and to keep showing up. A small list is actually a superpower. It gives you the space to test, experiment, and see what really resonates. And if you’ve got, say, 200 people on your list and that feels small… just imagine those 200 people sitting in the room you’re in right now. Suddenly, that’s a lot of people choosing to listen."

  • Andrea Barrenetxea  | @andreabarrenetxea
My number one takeaway from the event is: “The most important tip about the meeting was: show up on IG as the most curated version of yourself."

  • Nadine Ishaq | @momentswithnadine
My number one takeaway from the event is: “It was truly a pleasure to be part of the Community for Mothers event again earlier this week. I really enjoyed connecting with everyone and capturing such a vibrant, supportive group of women & this time, getting some beautiful individual shots as well was a real highlight for me! I really hope everyone is happy with their photos!

Something that really struck me from the event is how powerful it is to simply show up and share what you do. It can be easy to underestimate the value of your own story or feel nervous about putting yourself out there, but I was reminded that there are always people who genuinely want to listen, support, and champion you. Sometimes, the biggest shift happens when you give yourself permission to take up space, connect, and offer your unique perspective or skills. And often, when you focus on how you can add value and help others, you end up being inspired and supported in return.

Thank you again for having me, it was such a special morning."

  • Kirsty Drakes  | @ugcwithkirstylouise
My number one takeaway from the event is: “the importance of being able to be your own hype person! Having that head shot and media kit ready to roll, putting yourself out there and making it happen! It was definitely an amazing event, thanks Jenny!"

  • Gemma Brown  | @gems.yoga_
My number one takeaway from the event is: "energy is so important believe that what you want is coming… put that energy out and you will be a magnet for it!"

  • Julia Jahn | @jules_on_mother_hood
My number one takeaway from the event is: "Simply being surrounded by inspiring women out there doing their own thing gave me so much help and inspiration for my own path. The encouragement to be authentic through every step of the journey - whether it’s with email or how we post or talk with others - was a welcome, validating reminder."

HERE'S WHAT SOME OF OUR GUESTS THOUGHT:
  • Rosie Sandhu l | @rosieeatsworld
My number one takeaway from the event is: “Sometimes voicing your true feelings is the most important step back to yourself"

  • Zarouhi Grumbar | @yogawithzaz
My number one takeaway from the event is: “My top tip from yesterday was to not be afraid to step into your power. It’s ok to try lots of different things, it’s actually our super power as women to juggle!"

  • Alexandra Burner | @the_original_birth_connection
My number one takeaway from the event is: “I think the main takeaway from yesterday was just how powerful the learnings can be when we come together and build connections"

  • Anastasia Powell | @poptasticballooncompany
My number one takeaway from the event is: “Be Brave! Step out of your comfort zone put yourself out there you never know what opportunities may come your way"

  • Elizabeth Grattan | @lizzicamilla
My number one takeaway from the event is: “Pivoting and refining is part of the process and sometimes that does mean quiet years in business or taking a break but that time is actually just as valuable as the hard hustle."

  • Moira Ernest l | @re_style_tribe
My number one takeaway from the event is: “For me it was to ask for what I want, don’t be afraid to pick the phone up and make some demands"

  • Victoria Genevieve | @victoriagenevievestyling
My number one takeaway from the event is: “Don’t forget you are a bad ass hustler and you have already achieved so much… keep going it’s not even started yet!"

  • Ellie Cherrill | @elliecherrillfitness
My number one takeaway from the event is: “For me as a mum juggling 2 young children (3.5 and 1.5), in my first year of starting up a business, my biggest takeaway, as basic as it might sound, was just realising I’m not alone and starting up a business is bloody hard, especially while juggling it all. Realising that I’m frequently comparing my chapter 1 with other people’s chapter 12. Everyone’s journey is different I need to focus on my path and my evolving journey. The journey I’m on now will grow and develop into something that will likely one day be completely different, we’ve just got to keep moving in the right direction one foot after another."

  • Lucie Flynn l | @lucie.flynn
My number one takeaway from the event is: “Face your fears and remember that you learn to grow from every opportunity (good or bad) you’re given in life!"

  • Dr Mayoni l | @dr.mayoni
My number one takeaway from the event is: “You are allowed to show up with all the hats you wear - mother, partner, hormonal, entrepreneur etc. there is no limit. Because this is the beauty of women - our ability to evolve and showcase all our facets. And by honouring all these versions, in doing this we thrive. Because this is exactly what we were designed to do. Staying healthy or becoming more healthy is going to empower you to show up in the most fabulous way when you need it. But also showing up in your tracky bums is fine too. Just start honouring you."
Build a Brand That’s The Business

Wednesday 8th October 2025 @11AM | Mothers Meetings presents Brand Strategy Expert Sam Smith via a Virtual Workshop!

Get ready to level up your business, mums! We are absolutely thrilled to announce our next MM Masterclass - a LIVE Google Meet workshop hosted by the incredible Sam Smith of @hellotimeplanner & @brandandcodes!

We know how crucial a strong Brand Direction & Strategy is for growing your business, driving sales, and truly connecting with your audience. That's why we're so excited to welcome Sam, a Founder & Creative Director celebrating 30 years in the industry, who is dedicated to helping small business founders build brands that truly stand out by defining a strong Brand Direction and Strategy.

Tune in: 11 AM on Wednesday 8th Oct
Topic: Build a Brand That's The Business
 Hosted by: @hellotimeplanner | www.hellotime.co.uk

Sam is bringing the inside scoop from working with the big boys like Mars, Triumph, Bupa, and Virgin. She'll share proven branding strategies to help you become distinctive and memorable.

PLUS! Sam is dropping a HUGE offer for the first few attendees who take action after the session - a chance to get a free, personalised session on your brand strategy! You DO NOT want to miss this!

-------------------------------------------------------------------
In this session, Sam showed us exactly how to "codify" our businesses—meaning how to create and apply unique visual and sensory identifiers that make your brand instantly recognisable and unforgettable.

SAM'S 3 KEY TAKEAWAYS:
1. Create a Strong Brand for Your Business. A distinctive brand builds trust with its audience. Consistency and clarity earn credibility, leading to purchase confidence and helping to keep your brand top-of-mind when customers are ready to buy.

2. Select 2-5 Brand Codes for Your Business. These codes (like colour, pattern, shape, or font) are the mental short-cuts in a customer's mind that instantly cue your brand. The magic isn't in finding a rare combination but in how rigorously you apply them.

3. Be Consistent and Codify Everything. Applying and reapplying your brand codes across every single customer touchpoint is essential. This rigour turns simple brand elements into powerful assets, strengthening brand equity over time.

Missed the Live?
We had fantastic engagement, and many of you asked for the replay! If you want to watch the full masterclass & Q&A  on replay, drop Sam a DM on Instagram (@hellotimeplanners or @brandandcodes)!

EMAIL MARKETING That Actually Makes Money (And Doesn't Take Over Your Life)

Wednesday 24th September 2025 @11AM | Mothers Meetings presents The Queen of Email Strategies via a Virtual Workshop!

Are you drowning in an email abyss? Does your inbox control your day and steal your precious time? Think "email marketing" sounds too complicated, or that your time is better spent elsewhere?

This no-stress, practical masterclass is packed with simple, actionable strategies to boost your email revenue, tame your inbox, reduce digital overwhelm, and create the focus you need to grow your business without being chained to your laptop.

What we’ll cover:
✔️ Revenue-boosting email strategies that get instant results.
✔️ Automation hacks that eliminate repetitive email tasks instantly.
✔️ How to write emails that are clear, concise, and drive sales.

Led by Vicky Smith | @vicky_flicemail — The go-to expert in email strategy and digital productivity, helping female founders reclaim their time and sanity while driving e-commerce sales. Vicky has spent over a decade perfecting systems that turn chaotic inboxes into powerful productivity tools. As a mum in business herself, she’s passionate about empowering you to focus on your genius zone, not your email account.

HERE ARE VICKY'S 5 KEY TAKEAWAYS:
  1. Your list is never too small to start. Use "small" as your superpower — it’s your chance to test content, CTAs, and frequency, while building consistency from the start.
  2. Automations are your safety net. Relying only on stand-alone campaigns can make email feel like a chore. But remember: it’s never “set it and forget it.” The automations that make sales on autopilot are the ones that are monitored, optimised, and kept up to date.
  3. Keep your brand voice consistent. If you’re playful and chatty on socials, don’t suddenly turn formal in your emails. The best emails sound like you — that’s what builds trust.
  4. Never deceive with subject lines. Curiosity, benefits, and urgency work, but always be clear — not clickbaity.
  5. Don’t overwhelm new subscribers. Stop cramming everything into one welcome email — it only overloads people. Instead, break out the content into a welcome series, which can generate 51% more revenue than a single welcome email.

My number one takeaway from the event is: “The meeting was a powerful reminder that you’ve got to show up as yourself - and that your service is truly a gift. It helped me reconnect with my purpose (and yes, gave me the nudge to get back to making those pelvic floor wellness videos!). I left feeling confident, calm, and content.
And then - when you think of something you need, and the universe delivers it through the person sitting right next to you? Tell me women’s circles aren’t witchcraft?! It’s honestly wild. Women’s spaces are the real magic. Full-on witchcraft energy - in the best way possible.
Oh - and a pro tip from the photographer while she was snapping my picture: put your hands on your hips, and you instantly shift your frame, your face, your whole presence. Game changer.”

  • Sarah | @the.southend.mummy
My number one takeaway from the event is: “To clearly communicate your “mission” throughout your content"

  • Shani Yeend | @fitbirdsfitness (Founder)
My number one takeaway from the event is: “Be loud and proud of who you are, your business and what you have to offer.
Learnings which were reiterated: authenticity and boundaries. Be yourself but know your boundaries - how much of yourself do you want to give away, establishing a balance in being productive online socials but present IRL is a big priority for me."

  • Isabelle Hyde | @isseyhyde
My number one takeaway from the event is: “To stay authentic and relevant"

  • Kim-Michelle Timpson | @kimmichellet
My number one takeaway from the event is: “There is real power in building an authentic brand with a small, loyal, and engaged community. Stay rooted in your core brand values & don’t chase trends or crowd-please. Consistency breeds trust, and trust builds impact.”

  • Kirsty | @girlwithbellsandwhistles
My number one takeaway from the event is: “Practice what you want to say in a mirror first, then imagine you are talking to a friend. Just imagine you are having a chat and then your voice will sound more natural. Then press record! Whatever you have to say will help/resonate with someone."

HERE'S WHAT SOME OF OUR SPEAKERS AND GUESTS THOUGHT:
  • Victoria Jones | @victoriathemoneymirror
My number one takeaway from the event is: “My top tip would be: Don’t wait until you feel financially ‘ready’ in terms of knowledge. Make sure you have an emergency fund. Yes.
Then start small. Start regularly. Don’t start big. Investing little amounts each month isn’t just about growing money—it’s about building confidence.
Learn, take one action, and repeat. That’s how trust in yourself grows. Because if you wait until you know everything, you may never start. Knowledge grows over time—but action is what creates momentum. The real shift begins with you. In trusting yourself, you’re not just investing in the markets;
you’re investing in your future self. Not just financially, but intellectually. Through learning. Through doing." (Not advice, just guidance)

  • Natalie Sutherland | @themodernfamilylawyer
My number one takeaway from the event is: “My top tip from a divorce law perspective is: Do not abdicate financial literacy to your spouse. You should be financially literate during your marriage or civil partnership as this will not only improve your relationship by being equally responsible but empowers you in the event of a divorce or dissolution."

  • Stacey Reynolds| @los_wealth_lifestyle_ltd
My number one takeaway from the event is: “Starting small beats not starting at all. It’s easy to procrastinate and over think, whether it’s getting life insurance, saving for a rainy day, or finally investing. But here’s the truth: doing something is better than doing nothing. A little life or critical illness cover is better than none. A small emergency fund can be a game changer. And when it comes to investing, time is your best friend-compound interest turns small beginnings into big wins. Start where you are. Just start."
Stacey Reynolds DipPFS - LOS Wealth

  • Chloe Notaro| @chloeliuellis
My number one takeaway from the event is: “So I’d say the biggest tip I took away was a combined result that women actually don’t know what’s out there for them within line to finance and family law. I think financial advisors are so brush to side that I think every woman needs to sit down and speak to one because there are so many loopholes holes to save and invest for yourself and family! I also like the part where one of the speakers said said that we think so much about saving for our children that we forget to save for us, so I agree with the part where she said put yourself first with your money not just your kids and that really resonated with me."

  • Katy Gorniak | @katygorniak
My number one takeaway from the event is: “One of my biggest takeaways from the event was learning the language associated with finance, it really helped to demystify a topic that can often feel overwhelming. I was also struck by how many women don’t have access to, or feel confident in, their financial knowledge when it comes to things like saving, investing, and general money management. It was quite jarring and really highlighted the importance of not only equipping ourselves with this knowledge but also sharing it with each other. We rise by lifting others, and financial literacy should be part of that journey."

HERE'S WHAT SOME OF OUR GUEST SPEAKERS AND GUESTS THOUGHT:
  • Katie | @littlewindowreadings
My number one takeaway from the event is: “The event actually reconfirmed for me that I am more confident that I realised, and that as much as I can and am always there for everyone else, I'm going to start showing up for myself more too and getting out of my comfort zone more."

  • Inbaal | @inbaalpsychic| Celebrity Psychic
My number one takeaway from the event is: “Having a community makes a huge difference, so if you’d like to develop your spiritual skills, look to surround yourself with others who believe in the same things as you."

  • Marisha| @marishamistrycrafts
My number one takeaway from the event is: “I think the biggest thing I took away was I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but my key takeaway was how these practices — like tarot and psychic readings — can offer people a unique way to reflect, gain clarity, and connect with others. It reminded me of the value in being open to different approaches and perspectives."

  • Harpreet| @h_preeto
My number one takeaway from the event is: “I'm grateful for such a meaningful, eye-opening experience. The speakers’ authenticity and the welcoming atmosphere really inspired me to slow down, tune in, and trust my intuition more deeply. Thank you, Jenny, for introducing me to this xx"

  • Krystal | @krystal_prince
My number one takeaway from the event is: “Yesterday’s event was witchy, interesting and magical, watching a blend of tarot, spirit communication, and intuitive insights from some incredible women on the panel - but all centred around ourselves. One key takeaway for me was the reminder to trust my intuition more deeply. Whether through a tarot reading or a whispered message or even a sign! The atmosphere was empowering, encouraging connection not just with spirit, but with each other and our own inner knowing."

  • Georgia| @georgiaanddelilah
My number one takeaway from the event is: “The latest MM event was such a vibe – tarot, psychics, meditation, energy protection, numerology… all the mystical goodness chats. One of my biggest takeaways? You have to actively open yourself up to receiving signs!
I also learnt how to better protect my energy and, just from hearing the panel speak with such passion, I realised how much I need to carve out more time for myself and the things that truly light me up (like coming to MM – big up Jenny!). Katie’s story about how her psychic ability developed had me completely hooked – I could’ve listened to her for hours. Absolutely fascinating. Thanks again, gang! Grateful. x"

  • Cheralynn| @cher_dance_alchemy
My number one takeaway from the event is: "To start using chat GBT to track your Astrological transits - I tried it today and it provided really in depth detail like an Astrologer - who knew AI could be so fun. Thanks Tammy"

  • Josephine| @josephinerose
My number one takeaway from the event is: "I think the biggest message for me was being open to what the universe has in store for you, in all capacities, and that it doesn’t have to be on a big scale, it can be as simple enough as leaning into your intuition more, and tuning out the background noise! Was a pleasure, I always love the diversity of the topics."

  • Tracey| @thewellbeingwithin
My number one takeaway from the event is: "To always trust yourself, your body wisdom and the feeling of knowing. You hold the power, you hold the truth for you self and this is how you live from a place of authenticity. Trust yourself"

  • Tammy| @tammysyoga
My number one takeaway from the event is: "Tip 1: As you open up and expand your awareness of the subtle energetics around you, it’s important also to honour your own energy by intentionally cleansing and protecting your energy through intention and visualisation.

Tip 2: Your higher self communicates directly with you through your body. So trust the sensations in your body. This will help you improve your intuition

Tip 3: Signs and synchronicities are all around, it’s up to us to be open, to ask, to to be mindful and to reflect and decode them. Take the signs and don’t wait for a “signier” sign to scream at you in the shape of a dramatic or difficult life event. As you practice observing synchronicities you’ll get better at it and soon it’s like you're environment is speaking to you and you’ll be able to co-create your reality and manifest with the universe!"

PHOTOGRAPHY by Charlotte Gray | Instagram - @charlottegrayphoto | Website – www.charlottegrayphotography.co.uk

HERE'S WHAT SOME OF OUR GUEST SPEAKERS AND GUESTS THOUGHT:
  • Emma Kenwrick- Meehan | @homenipandtuck
My number one takeaway from the event is: “Your home should be the antidote to stress, not the cause of it. When life feels overwhelming, your space should work for you, not against you. Small changes—decluttering, thoughtful organisation, and intentional design—can transform your home into a place that truly supports your well-being and turns your house into a home that you love.”

  • Charlotte Chinwe Peace | @theorganisedkollective
My number 1 tip would have to be: Prioritise spending at least one hour of solo time every day to be still with your thoughts, ideally in the morning to create the right mindset for the day
If I can choose another (!) it’ll be: 2.  Outsource to make your life easier - a cleaner or ironing service etc.

  • Beth O’Neill | @itsbethoneill
Here were my key takeaways:
  1. How you programme your day, determines your day - set your day up each morning with the right mindset, e.g., 'how do I want my day to be?'
  2. Organise and automate as much as you can - train your Al bot to assist you and learn your priority areas, tone of voice etc
  3. Don't compare your life to social media - everyone is different and has different priorities and systems
  4. Figure out your relationship with money - look at how your parents managed their money and decide how you want to manage yours
  5. Book a monthly date with yourself to check in around money - what did I spend this month, how did I feel, what did I learn? And use this to create monthly goals
  6. Let go of perfection in your home
  7. Make your home your sanctuary: get rid of what you don't like and add a lick of paint if it brings you joy
  8. Have a dedicated donation bag under your stairs where you can get rid of 1 household item or piece of clothing everyday to simplify (I added - run Swap Shop events to exchange clothes!)
  9. Find a system that works for you and keep it as simple as possible - e.g., laundry bag near the laundry and adopt the 1 Touch Method
  10. Outsource - get a cleaner (and an assistant!)

  • Jo Jacob | @benella_home_organisation
My key tip is: To adopt the touch it once method.
Put things in their correct place so you just “touch it once” rather than halfway and then having to complete the job another time.  Shoes in cupboard, bag hung up not on banister, cup in dishwasher not on counter. Teaching family to do this also saves lots of time

  • Thea Gray | @theagraydesign | (Founder - Clark & Gray 308 Coat)
My tip would be: Trust your instincts and commit fully. Designing a brand-new product comes with a ton of challenges. You have to be resilient, have a bucketful of self belief and remain consistent. Stay adaptable, keep learning, and surround yourself with the right people.

  • Sarah Tucker | @the_mortgage_mum
I was struck by the power and energy of women coming together. My key takeaway was that your home is a reflection of your inner emotions. My mind was blown by the synergy between the disorder we feel in our homes and the disorder we feel in our minds and lives. I love the idea that women need to fall back in love with their homes and the whole concept struck such a chord with me. I was so grateful for the time and ideas shared between us all x

  • Amy Grilli | @fivehourclub
My top tip is: To prioritise what is important, and time block your day to work towards that. My key takeaway from the day was that women are powerhouses when it comes to organising their lives, the trouble is, the system does not work in the same way that makes sense for us and our families. So we need to empower ourselves with tools to break the system.

  • Alice Rickard | @motherofmind
You don’t need to be more organised — you need to be more supported. If you’re constantly holding the mental load — remembering the PE kits, managing the WhatsApp chaos, juggling your work inbox, and still figuring out what’s for dinner — you’re not disorganised. You’re overwhelmed by expectation. That’s where tools like ChatGPT come in. Start using it to outsource the brain-drain — meal planning, birthday party ideas, weekly to-dos, even writing that awkward email you’ve been avoiding. Because it’s not about colour-coded calendars anymore. It’s about creating space so you can actually prioritise yourself — your rest, your goals, your joy. Less juggling. More receiving. That’s the shift.

  • Rachelle Hewitt | @happyhippisocial | Social Media Manager & Strategist

SOME OF OUR GUEST SPEAKERS TOP SOCIAL MEDIA TIPS:
Abigail McLoughlin | @roseandthistlesocial
#1 Show your journey, not just the product/service: Take them behind the scenes of your business journey - share the ups and downs that shaped you. Don't just tell your audience what you do - show them. Keep it authentic and engaging!
#2 Showing your face can work wonders for your business. People connect with a person, and that personal connection builds trust—which is key when people are making big purchases. When you put your personality into your business, you're not just selling a product but a connection.
#3 Don't just post and ghost - get involved in the conversation! Reply to stories, leave thoughtful comments (not five-fire emojis), and participate in Facebook groups! Engaging with others shows you're active, approachable, and knowledgeable and helps build your community. You'll get your name out there and be seen as a leader in your field by offering valuable insights and genuine interactions. Remember, the more you engage, the more trust and recognition you'll build.
#4 Instagram Stories are perfect for keeping things real and current while connecting with your audience. Share behind-the-scenes moments, real-time updates, and sneak peeks. But don't forget - they're also a great place to sell! Promote your products or services in a natural, authentic way that feels less like a sales pitch and more like a conversation or that you’re solving a problem that they have and your business solves!

Claire Russell | @play.hooray
#1 Key to building your personal brand is authenticity - Be yourself, explore different content types and find your own style & build your community
#2 The more you enjoy making content, the more you will want to make!
#3 Get in the habit of taking a selfie or 5 second video of yourself every day and save in an album on your phone so that you always have content ready to post!
#4 Post before you scroll! Want to start posting regularly, get in the habit of making more content than you consume!
#5 Humans are nosey, we want to see behind the scenes of you building your business, start documenting your journey!
#6 Keep repurposing your content, whether it was a success or a flop, post it again!

Rachelle Hewitt |@happyhippisocial
#1 Just start showing up and test: You don’t have to have it all figured out—just dive in, tell your story and experiment.
#2 Authenticity is key: Be yourself. People connect with the real you, not a perfect version and it’s much more sustainable long term.
#3 Re-use content: Repurpose your best posts in different formats. Use Canva to remove watermarks from Instagram reels.
#4 Quality > Quantity: One engaged follower is better than 1,000 who don’t care. Focus on building meaningful connections over going viral.
#5 Don’t overthink it: The perfect aesthetic or analytics don’t matter as much as consistency. Just keep going.

Kira Shaw |@kirasocialmedia
#1 Have an email list and tell people about it right now!
#2 Get your audience used to selling from the beginning as well as adding value with tips
#3 Say it and say it again 10 different ways. Nobody sees 100% of your content apart from you.
#4 Be in your community, start conversations in your inbox and on their content too
#5 Play to your strengths. You love to chat? hop on reels and stories. You're a wizz in canva? Get creating in there.

MODIBODI X MM EVENT BRIEF:

ModiBodi briefed Mothers Meetings to raise awareness of periods and banish the stigma of talking about 'that time of the month'. Our collaboration resulted in a successful brunch workshop and more open conversations about menstrual health.

At Mothers Meetings, we honor the strength of women, recognizing it encompasses their entire being, including their menstrual cycles. It's crucial for corporate agencies to acknowledge and integrate menstrual health into the workplace, recognizing the immense potential it holds.

In a recent collaboration with ModiBodi, we showcased groundbreaking period solutions, shedding light on the importance of open dialogue surrounding menstrual health. By embracing these conversations, we empower women to fully harness their potential both professionally and personally.

Let's not only break the stigma surrounding periods but also recognize the innate power within women's natural rhythms. By embracing menstrual health awareness and acknowledging the manifesting potential within the menstrual cycle, we unlock boundless opportunities for growth and success.

Join us in championing menstrual health awareness and embracing the remarkable power of females in every phase of their cycle. Together, let's create a workplace that celebrates and uplifts the incredible potential within every woman. #MenstrualHealth #EmpowerWomen #Manifestation 🌸

WHAT THE MUM'S THOUGHT:
"The event has made a difference in terms of rejuvenating my commitment to carving a creative career with courage in my own voice. Easy to stay in my own head and keep grinding without remembering the joy in connecting with other like minded supportive women . As an introvert who is excellent, given the correct conditions, at stepping into social situations with my heart on my sleeve, it was perfect for me to enjoy that side of being a Madame of my Own Destiny and realise we are all in the same boat (terrible pun sorry!)  Pants look fab - waiting for period to give an honest trial run but I am looking forwardish to a period , which I don’t say often! The idea to just start a new behaviour, using Modi pants rings true to my work too. Love the type face. I drew it while I was feeling a bit nervous when people were arriving. Today, I’ve started a painting I’ve been putting off for ages as I realised that starting something you might not know how is going to work out - releasing self doubt - was a common theme amongst us all. Inspired and motivated by people, ideas and a being looked after was a tonic indeed.  Thanks to all involved and the team at MM “. - Helen Girling |@helengirling

“It's impossible to put into words how magical the Mothers Meeting x Modibodi event was, except it was pure high-vibes. I felt like I'd been lifted by all the positive energy and support in the room. I feel so grateful that I was part of it.” - Sophie Parker | @theinnerpractice

“Really enjoyed it even though I came half way in a slotted in perfectly during the manifest session which was incredible, I love revisiting goals every month, so it was timely. Thank you. Will try Modibodi on my next cycle”. - Flavia Asante |@flaviabenko

“Thanks so much again for inviting me to the event. Before joining, I was honestly a little anxious about entering a room full of women I’ve never met (especially the strong & *cool* mums that Mothers’ Meetings attracts). But I was welcomed so warmly, it was such an open and friendly space, and an incredible opportunity to connect with other women in a really candid and inspiring way. It was a true reflection of the incredible things women, especially mothers, are capable of and I still feel like I’ve got a boost from it today!” -  Megan Rossiter | @birth_ed

“Yesterday's event was great for me for many reasons:
 - It was over a few hours in the morning, which is perfect for me, as that's usually the time I can give to something different from my baby and work (my other baby)
 - The place (a boat in Paddington) was amazing and the atmosphere was incredible, especially considering it was a grey, cold Monday morning! Croissants were very yummy too!
 - The brand was really interesting, I have to say, I didn't know about it as much as others, but I loved discovering more about it while doing my research in the afternoon and looking at my goodies.
 - The choice of using manifestation as "activity" was brilliant. I've never done it before, I'm most probably one of the people who would have never tried it if not "forced to", but the lady conducting it had incredible energy, and I found myself thinking deeply about the questions and what matters to me, which I think is what you should be doing on a grey, cold Monday ;)
 - I enjoyed connecting with some of the women who were sitting near me, hearing their stories and their hopes was very inspiring.  Thank you again for inviting me to attend it!” - Gisella | www.gluecharm.com
